To keep our content consistent and reader-focused, please review the following guidelines carefully before submitting your pitch or article:
Tone
- Professional, polished, and instructional
- Neutral and reader-focused — write to “you,” not “I” or “we”
- Clear and confident — avoid casual, conversational, or playful tones
- No emojis, slang, or personal anecdotes
Language Style
- Simple, descriptive, and informative
- Explain fashion terms in an accessible way
- Avoid heavy metaphors or emotional language
- Every section should provide clear, practical value
Structure
- Begin with a clear, concise introduction
- Use subheadings to organize content logically
- Include bullet points or examples for clarity
- Keep paragraphs short and easy to scan
- Articles should be at least 800 words (unless otherwise agreed)
Formatting & Submission
- Submit your article in Google Docs or Word format
- Limit external links to a maximum of two, relevant and non-promotional
- Ensure spelling, grammar, and formatting are consistent and clean
- Author bios are not included unless pre-approved
